Rugby league’s most closely followed will-they-or-won’t-they saga might finally come to a close this week.
Michael Chammas of SMH is today reporting that the management of Tigers captain Aaron Woods and fullback James Tedesco will meet with Bulldogs officials on Wednesday, with the Bulldogs hoping to finalise the four-year deals that have been tabled to the pair.
If successful, the signings would likely spark a clean-out for the Bulldogs, with Josh Reynolds, James Graham and William Hopoate all likely candidates to move on.
The report suggests that the Tigers could loom as a potential home for Graham (who’s previously been linked with the Knights), as well as Warriors prop Ben Matulino and Dragons enforcer Russell Packer.
The Tigers rolled the Cowboys 26-16 this weekend in Ivan Cleary’s first game in charge.
