The Tigers aren’t the only team with off-contract stars available to opposition teams.
AAP reports that unsigned Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston is yet to make a decision on his future, and is open to hearing offers.
When asked if he was leaning towards staying at the Rabbitohs, Johnston said “it’s not heading in any direction at the moment”.
Johnston grew up playing fullback, so in his next contract will be “looking at playing fullback going forward”.
If only there was an NRL team with a gaping hole to fill at the back.
Johnston has played 70 matches for the Rabbitohs, and a single Test for Australia.
