He might be stuck in reserve grade, but Warriors utility back Tui Lolohea is in hot demand.
According to Fox Sports, the Warriors speedster has attracted enquiries from multiple NRL clubs, including the Tigers, Sharks, Raiders, Knights and Cowboys.
The versatile back, who can play any position in the backline, including the halves, still has another year to run on his contract. However, it’s believed that the Warriors would be willing to release him next season, in order to free up salary cap space.
Lolohea has fallen out of favour at the New Zealand club over the last 18 months, but you’d think that with a third of the league’s clubs lining up to sign him, it might tip the Warriors off that the kid can play a bit.
Lolohea has played 53 first grade matches for the Warriors, and 1 Test each for Tonga and New Zealand.
