Following on from yesterday’s bombshell that the Storm are chasing Broncos five-eighth Anthony Milford, comes reports of the sheer magnitude of the Storm’s offer… and it’s big.
According to various outlets, the offer is over 4 years, and worth in the neighbourhood of $5 million dollars total.
To put that in perspective, the Broncos’ offer that’s been sitting on Milford’s kitchen bench for the last few months, was reported as being worth $2.7 million over three years.
It looks like Milford was very wise to take his time.
Milford has played 104 first grade matches for the Broncos and Raiders, and 4 Tests for Samoa.
He’s #9 on The Obstruction Rule’s Free Agent Top 100.
