He hasn’t even left yet, and there are already plans in place to bring him back.
According to a Fox Sports report, the Eels are considering a left-field choice to replace rugby-bound winger Semi Radradra: rugby-bound winger Semi Radradra.
The report states that Radradra’s 2-year contract with Toulon includes a 2nd-year option in Radradra’s favour. If he chose not to activate that option, he could be available to return to the Eels as soon as Round 10 next season.
The Eels are reported to have tried luring Tigers winger David Nofoaluma and Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt as replacements, but pulled out of both negotiations, leaving Radradra as their best option.
Still, that would require Radradra changing his mind again, and we don’t know what gave them the impression he’s that kind of guy.
Radradra has played 77 matches for the Eels, 3 Tests for Fiji, and 1 for Australia.
