The best thighs since Adam MacDougall could be back on an NRL stadium in a fortnight.
AAP reports that Panthers winger Josh Mansour has resumed contact work at training, putting him on track to return in 2-4 weeks, and a surprise chance of playing a role in the State of Origin series, just six months after rupturing his ACL.
The report states that he’s “penciled in a return for Round 12”, but with the Panthers on a bye that weekend, the soonest we’re likely to see him in first grade is Round 13 against the Bulldogs.
The Panthers have struggled this season in his absence, particularly at the start of sets, where Mansour typically serves as an extra forward.
Mansour has played 87 matches for the Panthers, 3 State of Origins for New South Wales, and 5 Tests for Australia.
