Having lost Josh Dugan and Russell Packer, as well as Kurt Mann being rumoured to be heading to the exit, the Dragons have apparently drawn the line at Tim Lafai.
According to Fox Sports, the club are working hard towards re-signing the centre, in the face of interest from “as many as three” rival clubs.
The report doesn’t actually name any of the supposedly interested parties, and we’re not saying they don’t exist, but after losing Dugan to a better offer, the re-signing of Lafai might seem a little more impressive in the face of supposedly hot demand.
The Dragons’ offer is reportedly for three years.
Lafai has played 103 first grade games for the Dragons and Bulldogs, and 7 Tests for Samoa.
