We reported earlier this month that Eels winger Semi Radradra was a chance to replace himself in Parramatta’s 2018 squad. Now, AAP is reporting that the winger is in talks with the club to do exactly that.
Speaking in response to the speculation, Eels coach Brad Arthur said that “if Semi wants to come back, he’s not the sort of player you turn away”, before adding that “it’s with the club and Semi”.
“He’s definitely going overseas to fulfil his dream there,” Arthur said. (Presumably, he had a dream to earn more money.) “…but at some stage we want to see him back in the blue and gold.”
Radradra has played 79 matches for the Eels; and played 3 Tests for his native Fiji, before ‘fulfilling his dream’ of playing for Australia.
