Green turns down Kiwis job

May 26, 2017, 1:21 pm By Joel Leave a Comment

Kiwis boss David Kidwell remains on the hunt for an assistant coach.

According to a Stuff report, Cowboys coach Paul Green has turned down an offer from Kidwell to join his staff for the Rugby League World Cup.

The report doesn’t specify exactly why Green has declined the role, but quotes Kidwell as saying “as far as I know, he has made himself unavailable”.

Reports first emerged linking Green to the role back in March.
