If there’s a silver lining to the Warriors likely missing out on Broncos prop Adam Blair, it’s that loyal servant Jacob Lillyman might get a chance to stay in Auckland for another year.
According to Fox Sports, the Warriors have offered the Maroons veteran a one-year extension.
A fortnight ago, Lillyman publically indicated his desire to play on in 2018, with his preference being to do so in Auckland. It appears he’ll get his wish.
Lillyman has played 240 first grade games for the Warriors and Cowboys, and 13 Origins for Queensland.
He’s #36 on The Obstruction Rule’s Free Agent Top 100.
