The Storm have a vacancy in the halves for 2018, and young five-eighth Ryley Jacks is backing himself to fill it.
The Storm have today announced the re-signing of Jacks for another season, keeping him at the club until the end of 2018.
The move makes sense for both parties, with the Storm not over-committing on a young player who may not turn out to be the long-term option, and Jacks giving himself the opportunity to renegotiate in 12 months with a clearer picture of both his own role within the team, as well as his own personal value.
Jacks has played 9 first grade games for the Storm since his debut in Round 1.
He was #73 on The Obstruction Rule’s Free Agent Top 100.
