It’s not a good time to be injured out west.
After the Eels lost hooker Kaysa Pritchard and back-rower Beau Scott for the season, the bad luck has spread to Penrith, where Panthers hooker Peter Wallace is reported as having suffered a set back in his recovery from a groin injury.
According to Daily Telegraph reporter Christian Nicolussi, Wallace is set to miss “another 2-4 weeks“. Wallace has already missed 4 weeks of football, including the State of Origin.
The good news for the Panthers is that in his place, Mitch Rein has been in career-best form, as the Panthers have been undefeated in Wallace’s absence.
