When former Rabbitohs second-rower Robbie Rochow chose to join the Storm for just the remainder of 2017, it left open the possibility that he could be on the move again next year. If the Tigers have their way, that may well be the case.
According to a WWOS report, the Tigers are interested in bringing Rochow to Concord, with Rochow reportedly meeting with Ivan Cleary last week.
Rochow was a consistent first grader during his five years at the Knights, but his career stagnated after he moved to the Rabbitohs, and as a result, he moved to the Storm mid-season in search of a better opportunity.
He’s still only 26 years old, and if he’s able to recapture his best form, he could be an astute signing that would help give the Tigers’ pack more NRL quality depth.
Rochow has played 82 first grade games for the Rabbitohs, Knights and Storm.
