As expected, Knights hooker Rory Kostjasyn has announced his retirement.
Kostjasyn suffered a throat injury in a pre-season training accident, and as a result, has been tragically forced into retirement without ever playing a game for the Knights.
His impending retirement was reported last week.
Kostjasyn played 126 first grade games for the Cowboys and Storm, and 3 Tests for Ireland. He was a member of the Cowboys’ 2015 Grand Final-winning side.
