The Panthers unlikely Top 4 push has been dealt a blow, with captain Matt Moylan ruled out for the next fortnight due to a hamstring injury.
According to the Panthers, this is a new injury, and not an aggravation of the previous hamstring injury that’s seen him in-and-out of the side over the last month. He’s expected to be out for the next fortnight.
Tyrone May will replace him at five-eighth, while hooker Peter Wallace will be welcomed back from a hand injury.
If there’s a positive for Penrith, it’s that in five first grade matches to date, May has so far gone undefeated; so at least they’re in safe hands.
