Apparently unwanted at the Titans earlier in the year, utility back William Zillman has showed his worth of late, and is set to be rewarded with a new deal.
According to Fox Sports, the Titans have tabled Zillman a 12-month extension offer, in the hope of keeping him around for 2018.
Zillman has struggled with injuries during his time at the Gold Coast, and hasn’t got through a full season since 2011. However, at the right price, he offers veteran depth for any position in the backline – the value of which he’s demonstrated during their current injury crisis.
He’s played 179 first grade games for the Titans and Raiders.
