Warrington are believed to very keen on him, but Raiders assistant coach Dean Pay is expected to be appointed the next head coach of the Bulldogs, potentially with two other former Doggies as his assistant.
That’s according to The Daily Telegraph, with reporter Dean Ritchie saying that he thinks “it’ll be Dean Pay, Mick Potter and Jim Dymock”.
“Pay will be head coach, and Dymock and Potter will be his assistants,” Ritchie said.
Pay is a former Bulldog, and currently the assistant to (former Bulldog) Ricky Stuart at the Raiders.
Dymock is a former Bulldog, and was this year the assistant to Des Hasler at the Bulldogs.
Potter is a former Bulldog, and has worked as the head coach at English clubs Catalans, St Helens and Bradford; and the Tigers in the NRL.
