According to Courier-Mail reporter Pete Badel on Fox Sports, former Bulldogs coach Des Hasler has been added to the shortlist for the club’s NRL head coaching position.
Hasler joins Michael Maguire, Laurie Daley, Garth Brennan, Ben and Shane Walker, and Jason Demetriou in the running for the last available NRL coaching gig.
From that list, Daley is currently considered to be the favourite, although that could change following the completion of interviews over the next week or two.
Hasler has coached 361 first grade games for the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles, with a career winning percentage of 58.2%.
