Junior Paulo mightn’t be the only big bopper departing the nation’s capital at the end of 2018, with Raiders prop Shannon Boyd tipped to be following him out the door.
According to The Canberra Times, it’s believed that Boyd has knocked back a contract extension with the Raiders, and is expected to be headed to either the Titans or Knights.
In the case of the Titans, it’s believed that they view Boyd as a potential replacement for Jarrod Wallace, in the event that the latter opts to return to the Broncos.
In regards to the Knights, they’ve been linked to every off-contract forward on the market, so seeing their name pop up is hardly a surprise.
The report also mentions that hooker Siliva Havili is expected to re-sign in the coming weeks, having filled in for English star Josh Hodgson capably so far in 2018.
Boyd has played 98 first grade games for the Raiders, and 4 Tests for Australia.
Havili has played 32 first grade games for the Raiders, Dragons and Warriors, 1 Test for New Zealand, and 8 Tests for Tonga.
