Say what you like about Panthers winger Josh Mansour; but that guy bleeds black (and white, green, red and yellow).
Despite being reportedly offered big money by Western Sydney rivals Parramatta (and also, apparently, the Tigers, Roosters and Bulldogs), he’s now being tipped to remain at Penrith, according to The Daily Telegraph’s Dean Ritchie.
Speaking on Triple M, Ritchie said that Mansour is “desperate to stay”, “wants to stay”, and that if the Panthers “can make some sort of competitive offer”, he expects him to stay.
He also mentioned last week’s reports that the Panthers had given Sea Eagles winger Akuila Uate a tour of the facilities, describing Uate as “the backup plan”.
Mansour has played 108 first grade games for the Panthers, 3 Origins for New South Wales, and 7 Tests for Australia.
