The Warriors are set to continue their 2017 ‘buy back the farm’ recruitment policy, with a former Warrior set to return home.
According to the New Zealand Herald, Dragons prop Leeson Ah Mau has agreed to join the Warriors on a three-year deal, that will see him head to Auckland until the end of 2021. The deal is believed to be worth around $500,000 per season.
The Ah Mau deal was first tipped by Newcastle Herald reporter Barry Toohey 10 days ago.
Ah Mau has played 165 first grade games for the Dragons, Cowboys and Warriors, and 16 Tests for Samoa.
