The Moses Mbye saga mightn’t be completely over yet.
After Mbye this week agreed to a four-year deal with the Tigers from next year, it appeared that the situation was resolved, and he’d see out the year at Canterbury before heading to Concord. Not so fast.
According to The Australian reporter Brent Read on Triple M, a possible pre-June 30 move is “back on the table“, with Mbye reportedly to consider the move over the coming days.
It’s previously been reported that Mbye’s preference is to see out his current deal, however with the Tigers keen to bring him over immediately – and the Bulldogs keen to offload his contract as soon as possible – it seems that an early shift isn’t off the cards yet.
Either way, Mbye will definitely be at the Tigers next year; but if he can join them early for a possible finals charge, all the better for them.
Mbye has played 92 first grade games for the Bulldogs since making his debut in 2014.
