As expected, the Raiders have officially confirmed the re-signing of halfback Aidan Sezer to a new two-year deal, that will keep him in Canberra until the end of 2020.
The news came on the same day as an nrl.com report that five-eighth Blake Austin has met with Eels officials about potentially joining Parramatta as a replacement for Corey Norman.
That report indicated that Austin would be prepared to sign a short-term ‘prove it’ deal, and back himself to earn a bigger payday down the track.
Sezer has played 133 first grade games for the Raiders and Titans.
Austin has played 112 first grade games for the Raiders, Tigers and Panthers.
