Apparently not everyone needs the coaching situation sorted before they’ll put pen to paper.
Titans second-rower Chris McQueen is set to join the Tigers on a three-year deal, the Courier-Mail reports.
In a curious placement of priorities, the Tigers – who are currently without a coach, fullback, or halves for next year – have seemingly decided that what they really need is another back-rower. The reported $1.2 million deal is worth $100,000 more per season than the offer tabled by the Titans.
The 30-year-old has previously played for South Sydney, and has also played in 6 Origins for Queensland.
