UPDATE 18/4/17 @1:31pm: The damage to Pangai’s finger is worse than first thought, and will require surgery. He’ll be out for 8-12 weeks.
Broncos forward Tevita Pangai Jr will be out for up to a month after suffering both a knee injury and a broken finger during his side’s win over the Titans.
According to NRL.com, he’ll see a specialist on Tuesday, but at this stage he’s expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
Fellow Bronco injury concerns, winger Jordan Kahu (groin) and forward Korbin Sims (foot) aren’t expected to miss any time, though Kahu should consider himself lucky if he continues to keep David Mead out of the starting side.
