After being tipped to sign an extension nearly three months ago, it all went quiet on the Alex Glenn front, and all the while, big names were being added by the Broncos, like Jack Bird and Anthony Milford.
However on this occasion, good things have indeed come to those who wait, with the Broncos today announcing the re-signing of Glenn on a new two-year deal.
The extension will see Glenn remain in Brisbane until the end of 2019.
The Broncos still have plenty of work to do on the retention front, with Darius Boyd, James Roberts and Jordan Kahu all still unsigned for 2018.
Glenn has played 207 first grade games for the Broncos, 12 Tests for New Zealand, and 1 for the Cook Islands.
He was #23 on The Obstruction Rule’s Free Agent Top 100.
