UPDATE 20/4/17 @ 6:29pm: This report has since been officially confirmed by Wests Tigers.
It’s not all doom and gloom for Tigers fans.
In what might be considered a small consolation (or a large consolation, depending on how big a fan you are of the Tigers winger), David Nofoaluma has reportedly agreed to an extension with the joint-venture club.
According to Channel 9 reporter Danny Weidler, Nofoaluma has agreed to remain at Concord for a further four years.
Earlier this afternoon, the Tigers issued a Friday deadline to fellow off-contract stars James Tedesco and Aaron Woods, but such a deadline wasn’t necessary for Nofoaluma, who knocked back recent interest from Parramatta.
The 23-year-old Nofoaluma has played 70 first grade games for the Tigers since making his debut in 2013.
