The three-way game of prop forward musical chairs between the Dragons, Warriors and Knights has finally been completed, with Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman reportedly taking a seat at the Knights.
According to Fox Sports reporter Nathan Ryan on his Market Watch segment, Lillyman has agreed to terms with Newcastle on a one-year deal.
“It’s taken Nathan Brown a little while, but he’s finally got a forward for next season,” Ryan said. “I can tell you that former Queensland Origin representative Jacob Lillyman, he’s signed a one-year deal.”
The addition of Lillyman has been widely expected, with the Warriors tipped to have won the race for Broncos forward Adam Blair, and James Graham heading to the Dragons.
Lillyman has played 250 first grade games for the Warriors and Cowboys, and 14 Origins for Queensland.
