Apparently not satisfied with the impressive contributions of edge forward Felise Kaufusi, the Storm are reportedly trying to lure in his younger brother.
According to Fox Sports, the Storm have offered a two-year deal to Cowboys forward Patrick Kaufusi, to play alongside his brother.
Kaufusi has reportedly attracted interest from unnamed Sydney clubs, however it’s hoped that the chance to play alongside his older brother might give the Storm the edge.
Signing Kaufusi would also help offset the loss of forward Jordan McLean, who’ll depart the Storm at the end of the year for North Queensland.
Kaufusi played all of the opening 9 matches of the season for the Cowboys, before undergoing surgery on a foot injury, and being lost for the year.
He’s played 22 first grade games for the Cowboys, and 1 Test for Tonga.
