It seems the Sharks are trying to fill the grub vacancy left by Michael Ennis.
According to a report by Fox Sports, Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan has met with off-contract Bulldogs utility Josh Reynolds.
Flanagan is reportedly a family friend of Reynolds, and has previously expressed that he’d welcome him to Cronulla if he were to become available.
The report claims that the Sharks are resigned to losing utility Jack Bird to Newcastle, and have current halfback Chad Townsend off contract at the end of the season.
Reynolds has played 126 first grade matches for the Bulldogs, and 4 Origins for New South Wales.
