The Raiders have today added some valuable depth for their charge towards the finals, announcing the mid-season signings of Panthers winger Michael Oldfield and Roosters forward Liam Knight.
Oldfield has signed a one-and-a-half year deal, that will see him in Canberra until the end of next year.
Knight has joined on a two-and-a-half year deal, making him a Raider until the end of 2019.
The choice of club is somewhat surprising for Oldfield, who’ll face a similar outside back logjam in front of him as he did at the Panthers.
Oldfield has made 31 NRL appearances for the Panthers, Rabbitohs, Roosters and Sea Eagles, and played 2 Tests for Tonga.
Knight has made just the one NRL appearance, for the Sea Eagles last year.
