Titans fullback Jarryd Hayne and coach Neil Henry are scheduled to have a meeting with club management Monday to “seek further explanation of recent developments and determine the appropriate course forward”. It comes after Hayne told reporters he’s prepared to move on “if (Henry) doesn’t want me here”.
Still on the Titans, forward Jarrod Wallace is in some doubt for the remaining three weeks after suffering a suspected medial ligament injury, while Hayne is waiting to see how he pulls up from a lateral ankle sprain.
The Cowboys are expected to be without centre Justin O’Neill for the rest of the season, after he suffered a dislocated elbow during his side’s loss to the Panthers.
It’s believed that the Sea Eagles have lost outside back Brad Parker for the rest of the season, after he went down late in the match with a suspected ACL injury.
Broncos half Benji Marshall will return home to the Tigers, re-joining the club on a one-year deal.
Warriors owner Eric Watson has confirmed that he’s currently in negotiations to sell the club.
NRL CEO Todd Greenberg will spend Monday in negotiations with the RLPA, rather than attend a meeting with Bulldogs chairperson Ray Dib about a potential “soft cap”.
