For Panthers winger Christian Crichton, the writing was probably on the wall when Penrith re-signed winger Josh Mansour. So, it should come as little surprise then, that he’s decided to move on, with Canterbury set to be the beneficiary.
The Bulldogs have today announced the signing of Crichton on a three-year deal, that will see him head to Belmore until the end of 2021.
It’s well known that the Bulldogs were going to have to replenish their squad with cheap options, due to salary cap problems, and in that context, Crichton is an astute purchase.
He’s been excellent for the Panthers since being called into first grade to replace Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and then Mansour, and should slide straight in at the Bulldogs.
Crichton has played 9 first grade games for the Panthers since his debut in Round 3.
