One of the Titans more baffling retention decisions of recent seasons is about to be reversed.
According to WWOS reporter The Mole, former Titans utility Tyrone Roberts has agreed to re-join the club, despite being let go at the end of last season.
The report indicates that Roberts has suffered home-sickness during his time at Warrington, and if he can secure an early release, could even be brought in prior to the June 30 deadline.
The decision not to retain Roberts was odd in the first place, given his utility value, and the excellent form he was in after being thrust into the fullback role last year.
Both the Titans and the NRL itself will be better off for having Roberts back.
Roberts has played 138 NRL matches for the Titans and Knights.
