Latimore re-signs with Dragons

August 16, 2018, 4:45 pm By Joel Leave a Comment

One of the game’s most underrated forwards will be sticking around for another year, with Dragons forward Jeremy Latimore signing on for another season.

Latimore’s new deal will see him remain in the Red Vee until the end of 2019.

Latimore had previously hinted at the possibility of retirement if he couldn’t secure a new deal at the Dragons, but with Latimore demonstrating his value in the absence of Origin forward Paul Vaughan, the Dragons were evidently happy to keep him around for veteran depth.

Latimore has played 159 first grade games for the Dragons, Sharks, Panthers, Warriors and Eels.

Latimore expected to join Dragons

September 20, 2017, 12:37 am By Joel Leave a Comment

The career of Sharks forward Jeremy Latimore appears set to go full circle, with the veteran prop expected to return to the Dragons in 2018.

According to Fox Sports reporter Nathan Ryan on his Market Watch segment, Latimore is set to re-join St George Illawarra – the club with whom he spent a season in 2012 – after not being offered a contract by the Sharks.

“It looks like he’ll end up back at the Dragons, which is a great result for the Red V,” Ryan said.

At the Dragons, Latimore will provide further depth to one of the league’s most feared forward packs, that’s already been bolstered by the addition of James Graham.

Latimore has played 139 first grade games for the Sharks, Panthers, Dragons, Warriors and Eels.
